Description
After intravenous administration of HEPATO-TEC colloidal solution (99mTc) is rapidly eliminated from the plasma compartment with a half-life of 2.5 minutes and concentrates specifically in the endothelial reticulum system depending on its degree of vascularization and the phagocytic capacity of its cells. In general, between 80 and 90% of the injected dose is concentrated in the liver and between 5 and 10% in the spleen.
